CHPD accepting families
for Cops and Robbies effort
The Cedar Hill Police Department is accept-
ing applications for its Cops and Robbies pro-
gram
This program is designed to help those m
need during this holiday season to provide an
enjoyable Christmas to their children.
Volunteers will have Angel Trees located
throughout the city with the child’s Christmas
wish listed on a Angel card.
This is the season for giving and of good
will, so residents are asked to help by picking
an angel from the tree and by helping ensure a
child is not disappointed come Christmas
morning.
Application requirements are as follows:
• Must show proof of residency. (Lease or
utility bill)
• Current report card for each child of school
age must be presented.
• Parent or guardian must show current,
valid Texas drivers license or Texas ID
• A letter from the Cedar Hill Food Pantry
(you must be a client of the food pantry before
Oct. 1) or a letter from a Cedar Hill School
employee.
• Applications are lor minors up to the age of
16 or senior citizens.
Applications are being taken on Wednesdays
and Saturdays from 10 a m. to 2 p.m. at the I
Cedar Hill Police storefront located at 108 W. !
Beltline Road Suite 108 in the Minyards shop-
ping center.
No applications will be taken on Nov 23. [
The final day for applications is Nov. 26.
