High Pointe
elects hew
directors
During a recent election,
High Pointe residents elected
three new board directors for
the High Pointe Public Impro-
vement District - Area 1, Rod
Reed; Area 2, Jan Lovell; At-
Large, Jerry Gregory.
Election to HPPID’s board
is a two-step process. First is
election by High Pointe resi-
dents and second is appoint-
ment by the Cedar Hill City
Council.
At there regular meeting
Oct. 10, the council voted
unanimously to approve the
appointments of the three new
directors.
The new directors join Mel
Asuncion, Area 3; Hobart
Kennedy, At-Large; Maggie
Knedler, At-Large; and Mich-
ael Quildon, At-Large. Addit-
ional information on all of the
HPPID directors can be found

The first meeting of the
new HPPID board was Oct. 16.
Primrose hosts
sing-a-thon
The Primrose of Cedar Hill
will hosts its first “sing for the
cure” sing-a-thon to help fight
breast cancer.
The event is scheduled for
4-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, in
the parking lot of the Primrose
Community Center at 1204 E.
Belt Line Road in Cedar Hill
The event is free, but dona-
tions are encouraged. For more
