Officer Chad Ward received a
tip that Robert Allen Blackwell
Jr. was at a residence at 229
Circle Drive. Ward and other
officers went to the residence
in an attempt to serve a warrant,
but no one came to the door.
Finally, a juvenile answered
the door and officers found
Blackwell hiding inside.
When officers entered they
encountered a very strong odor
of marijuana in the residence,
Middleton said.
Officers left the residence
and obtained a search warrant
for narcotics at the location.
During the subsequent
search, officers found “quite a
bit” of marijuana and packaging
materials, Middleton said.
Additional charges have been
filed on Blackwell and Lilybell
Davila for child endangerment
