It can be the focus of all eyes - when it hosts an international medical convocation
as San Antonio emerges a newly developed and foremost city of research and healing.
Educators of the world's oldest universities will meet with the outstanding thinkers
of some of its newest.
Above all, HemisFair - 1968 would be held in one of th cities of the United States
where the true meaning of freedom is a practical way of life for all of every race,
creed and state of economic being
We Can Be As Big As We Dream
It can and will be all of these things, created in the midst of the most hospitable
people in the world - if we but persevere in the course before us. It can be as big
and great as we can dream and act. Therefore, what it is will be but a measure of our
own limitations as human beings. We have the chance to be leaders - to demand the
best of ourselves. No one is going to do this for us. We must do this one for our-
selves, but enlist the support of all in Texas, all in our Nation - indeed the help
of half a world.
