Big cleanup
Members of Kiwams Club and Keep Port Aransas Beautiful decided to clean an abandoned trailer park
on Ross Road. The group decided they would clean the unsightly area because it is on the road to the
birding facility and the new Community Park, which visitors often see first. During the several hour long
cleanup, the group picked up eight dump trucks of stuff, ranging from old mattresses and sofas to
garbage. Salli Grissom, who spearheaded the project, said that all but two of the 15 cleaners were
members of both KPAB and Kiwams.

amounts during periods of rapid
growth such as pregnancy and early
childhood. WIC provides vouchers
for milk, cheese, eggs, cereal, beans,
