engagement of their daughter Tammy Elaine to Luke Andrew
Elliott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel P. Elliott, Sr. of Irving.
Tammy is a graduate of West High School and Southwest Texas
State University, where she majored in Fashion Merchandising.
She is employed by Gadzook's, Inc., as a store manager.
Luke is a graduate of Renaissance Charter School and is a senior
at Texas Woman's University, majoring in Psychology. He is em-
ployed by the Jordan Group. Inc., as a manager of sales.
The couple plan to marry July 22, 2000 at Fellowship Bible
Church of Dallas and will reside in Lewisville, after the wedding.

lic Church, with the Rev. Msgr.
Mark Deering officiating. A re-
ception followed at Mart Com-
munity Center.
The bride is the daughter of
Dr. and Mrs. Mark Range of Mart
and Ron Massman of Waco. She
is the granddaughter of Alma
Massman and the late C.W.
Massman of Waco and Mr. and
Mrs. Wiley Stem, Jr. of Lott and
the step-granddaughter of
Gwynn Range of Marlin.
She is a graduate of Mart High
School. She was formerly em-
ployed by Channel 25 and will
relocate to Alabama.
The groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Raymond Kupcak of
Waco and the grandson of Mr.
and Mrs. Otto J. Hanak of West
and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kupcak,

receives Baylor
law degree
West resident, Keith Allen
Gamer, received a juris doctor
degree from Baylor University
School of Law during at com-
mencement ceremonies on Sun-
day, April 30, in Waco Hall.
Following the ceremony, a re-
ception for the graduates and
their guests was hosted by the
Baylor Law Alumni Association
in the Barfield Drawing Room of
the Bill Daniel Student Center.
Ronda Leigh Mangrum
Ronda Leigh Mangrum was
awarded a Bachelor of Arts De-
gree from the College of Liberal
Arts at the University of Texas
at Austin. She received her de-
gree during ceremonies in Gre-
gory Gymnasium at 11 a.m. on
May 19.
Ronda received high honors
for her degree in Anthropology
with a minor in Geology.
In April 2000, Ronda was also
selected to be a member of Phi
Beta Kappa by action of the Al-
pha of Texas Chapter at the
University of Texas at Austin, in
recognition of high attainments
in liberal scholarship. She re-
ceived her Phi Beta Kappa key
and certificate on graduation
day. The motto of Phi Beta Kappa
is "Love of wisdom the guide of
life." Its three distinguishing
principles are friendship, moral-
ity and literature.
Ronda is the daughter of Boyd
and Mary Mangrum of West and
the granddaughter of Mennita
and the late Harrison Peterson
and W.D. and Donnie Mangrum,
all of West.
