A WARNING
Well, any vinegar bottles
With kite flying season at . hand,
a warning to boys and to' parents
has been issued by C. P. Motsch,
local manager of the Central Power
and Light Company. “One' acci-
dent in South Texas has already
bee® recorded this year,” Mr. Mot-
sch said. “Parents should take
every precaution to see that their
children do not fly kites anywhere
near electric lines.’’ v* '
One of the most distressing fea-
tures of kite flying accidents, the
power and- light man pointed out,
is that the victim itj nearly always
a child between seven and 14 years.
“The victim carries the scars of
burns for the remainder of his life,
if he has been lucky enough to eB-
cape, permanent disability or
death,"'he added. _ —
Mr. Motsch gave a fe\V simple
Baptistj "don'ts" to prevent these accidents.
They are: <
Don't use wire dr any type of tin-
sel or metallic string on any part
oi kite or string.
Donst fly kite near electric lines,
if kite appears to be falling into a
line, turn it loose.
Don't attempt to dislodge a kite
which has fallen into electric wires.
Don't flv a kiteln the.street: one
can’t watch a kite and automobiles
at the same tiffie.

To fill the record-
breaking nationwide ^
demand, Chevrolets
are being produced
at a record-breaking
rate of
4000
units a day!
[/CHEVROLET
A GENERAL MOTORS VALUE
/■(
/CHEVROLET factories arc breaking
records, trying to give America all the
cars it wants. 4000 units a day are rolling off
the assembly lines. In fact, more Chevrolets
are now being produced than any other make
of automobile in the world.
Naturally, Chevrolet is proud of the record
its factories have made this year. Especially
so, in view of the fact that the 1934 Chev-
rolet is not merely last year’s model improved,
but a basically new automobile throughout.
Producing so many of these cars so early
in the season, and producing them all up to
Chevrolet high standards of quality, is nothing
short of a real accomplishment!
Chevrolet takes this opportunity to thank
the American public for the wonderful way it
has received the 1934 Chevrolet car. And
Chevrolet is happy to report, that with over
4,000 cars a day being built, dealers every-
where will soon be in a (position to make
immediate deliveries.
