DENISON,
TUESDAY..............SEPT.9,11873.
Boston may well be proud of the
honor received at the Vienna Expo-
sition, having received the award of
honor for her contribution to the ed-
ucational department- This is the
highest award in the exposition, and
to no other American city has it been
given.
The world never appreciates real
merit until after the possessor has
been entoomed. The author of the
“Genesis of the Species” was pro-
posed for membership to the French
Academy of Science. Upon the
vote being taken, twenty-six opposed,
and but six favored his reception.
Thus does the world accept a man
of the twenty-fifth century. We
wonder whether the ancestors of the
six were apes or orang-outangs.—Sc-
dalia Bazoo.

Sherman, Texas, Aug. 5, 1S73.
I hereby certify that my wife has been
afflicted with dyspepsia badly for over two
years. She became so terribly prostrated
by this disease that she had been confined
for five weeks, when I took her on a bed
to Dr. Roberts, at Bonham, July 12, 1S73.
She has taken Dr. Roberts’ Magnetic,
Swedish Movement Cure, and Medicated
Hot Air Bath treatment since the above
named time, and I am happy to say she
has been restored to good health again.
