The Clarksville Times boasts of a
htdish four feet seven inches in
length. It was grown on the place
of Mr. G. C. Baker, of Red River

that radish.
John Love, an old bachelor living
alone near Terrell, was murdered
on the 24th of May, and the house
burnt over him. It was supposed
that he was murdered for money,
but the deceased was in poor cir-
cumstances.— Clarksville Times.
We suppose hate killed him for
love of hate and hate of iove, or
else, being an old bachelor and
thinking love a mis-nomen, hated
himself to death.

The Supply Depot of the Roily.
The stomach is the gr.-rnd supply de-
pot of the body, udow which it draws for
all the elements needed in the composi-
tion of bone, muscle, brain and blood.
The liver is an important auxiliary of this
mighty organ, and the two are most in-
timately connected. Nothing so cerlainly
ensures the harmonious action of these
viscera, and so completely removes the
disorders which simultaneously affect
both, as Hostetter’s Stomach Bitters, the
most popular American specific for all
complaints to which the stomach, liver
and bowels aie subject, and the lormost
tonic on this side of the Atlantic. Indi-
gestion, costiveness, inactivity and con-
gestion of the liver, poverty ot the blood,
debility of the bladder and kidnejs, and
many other ailments produced by or
causing weakness, are entirely removed
by its use. june6 iw

Thousands of republicans would
vote lor Tilden as opposed to almost
any other prominent republican as-
pirant than Bristow, and democrats
all over the country would vote for
Bristow should their own party
nominate a man less distinctively
associated with the work of reform.
The great mass of independent
voters would vote for either of these
candidates should but one be placed
in nomination.—San Francisco
