A dispatch came over the wires
the other day that ‘‘1500 Egyptian
troops, with their commander,Rahil)
Pasha, have been massacred in Ab\s-
sinia. The Abyssinians afterwards
proceeded to Massarod, which they
seized.” It appeared, after filtering
through the brain of a Dallas Daily
Herald compositor,as follows: “Fif-
teen thousand troops, with their
commander, Rahibe Pasha, have
been massacred. The Abyssinians
afterward proceeded to massacre a
soldier which they seized.”
It is evident a night proof reader
is needed on the Herald.

A Theory Home Out by Facts.
The theory that lack of vigor is the un-
derlying cause of disease is receiving
daily confirmation of the most positive
kind in the cure of dyspepsia, liver disor-
ders, anil kidney, bladder and uterine
complaints by Hostetter’s Stomach Bit-
ters, the ruling remedy for maladies at-
tributable to weakness. This superb
tonic is never employed without the most
beneficial effects. The liver, the bowels,
the organs of urination, and indeed the
entire system acquires both vigor and
regularity through it- action, since it
gives a healthful impetus to every failing
funct on. It is an incomparable specific
for chills and fever, and other maladies
of a malarial type, prevents their attacks,
is a reliable means of counter-acting the
effects of undue exposure or fatigue, and
soothes as well as strengthens the nerv-
ous organism. sept.5 d&w iw.

Dyspepsia.
Americans are particularly subject to
this disease and its effects; such as sour
stomach, sick headache, habitual costive-
ness, heart burn, water brash, coming up
of the food, coated tongue, disagreeable
taste in the mouth, palpitation of the
fceart and all diseases of the stomach and
liver. Two doses of Green’s August
Flower will relieve you at once, and
there positively is not a case in the Uni-
ted States it will not cure. If you doubt
this, go to your druggist, McKnight &
Co., Denison, Texas, and get a samller
bottle for 10 cents and try it. Regular
size 75 cents.
How I* Your Llrer?
How many are there who, though not
sick, yet have a dread of some approach-
ing calamity, fear their inability to meet
their engagements, lay awake at night
worrying about frost, or drought, or
storm, or hail or some dread disease—
These are the ones who should imme-
diately go to Acheson’s drug store and
get Sherman’s Prickly Ash Bitters, which
will so arouse the system and quicken the
liver and glandular apparatus, that a new
life will be opened up and misery be sup-
planted by happiness, gloom by beauty,
and scowls by smiles. They are the best
Liver Regulator in the world.
