Mrs. Margie Black of Arlington soent the weekend with Mrs.
Della Grimm and attended the Polansky-Hutyra wedding in Tours
on Saturday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Janek of Moore, Oklahoma spent the
weekend visiting their parents Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Volcik and
Mrs. Emil Janek.
Dinner guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henrv Zaoalac Sr.
Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Landkamer and Jimmy of
Mankoto, Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Zapalac and family of
Bryan, and Lillian Zapalac of Dallas. The occasion was Mr. Henry
Zapalac Sr.’s 81st birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. W.O. Montgomery visited over the weekend in
Tyler with Mrs. G.L. Montgomery and Dr. Hazel Montgomery.
Mrs. Ann Townsend is back in Hillcrest Hospital undergoing
medical treatment. Visiting Mrs. Townsend were Mrs. Helen
Coker and her daughter-in-law Mrs. Leon Coker of Dallas.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Dolezal, and Linda of Ennis and Charlie
Dolezal of West were visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe
Dolezal of West.
Mr. and Mrs Alfred Stoll and Esther and Henry Stoll from
Gatesville visited Mrs. Lydia Schuetz in West Rest Haven, Monday
the 12th.
Mrs Annie Zahimiak had Xmas supper at her home for her
children and great grandchildren. Those that were present were
Mr. and Mrs. John P. Sulak and family, Mr. and Mrs_ Laurence
Hessel from Waco, Mr. and Mrs. James Warner and daughter
from Ft. Worth, Mr. and Mrs. Joe E. Zahtrntak and family, Mr.
and Mrs. William Zahimiak and family, Mrs. Ernest Zahimiak and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Petter and family from Robinson, Mr.
and Mrs. Gary Drews and daughter, Sgt. and Mrs. James Warner
Jr. from New Mexico, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Pustejovsky, Mr. and
Mrs. Lynn Roberts from Waco. Miss Mary Jane Nors, and Mr.
and Mrs. John Kay Sulak and daughter.
Mr and Mrs. Robert Bob Zahimiak and family made a trio to
Ohio to visit with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Sam Plummer and
other relatives over the Xmas holidays. They were glad to get back
to Texas as the weather was too bad in Ohio.
Christmas holiday visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Percy
Smith were Mr. and Mrs. William H. Smith and daughter Kerri of
Palos Verdes, California. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Nelson and son
Matthew of N. Augusta, S. Carolina, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Smith,
Denise and Jeffrey of Houston, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Kruse, Julie and
Jimmy of Harris Creek, McGregor. Margarette Alexander, Dr. and
Mrs. Lewis Ford, Ben and Jason of Bryan, Mr. and Mrs. L.G.
Davis and Denise of Corsicana, and also other friends came by.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Subjeck visited *over the Christmas
Holidays with their parents in Dallas, and Mrs. Deema Hutyra and
Billy came back home to New Orleans with the Subjecks for a
week.
A coffee was given in Mrs. Hutyra’s and Billy’s honor. Those
attending were friends of the Subjecks from Baton Rouge and New
Orleans.
After a delightful week they took Mrs. Hutyra and Billy home to
Dallas.
Mr and Mrs. Frank L. Dvoracekof Euaclaire, Wisconsin spent a
few days in the home of his father Mr. Charles Dvoracek.
