mark this special day, the Feast
of the parish’s patron saint, St.
John the Apostle and Evange-
list, will be observed at both

p.m. there will be a special
Tamale Dinner and Christmas
Carol sing. St. John’s Church is

plore and challenge old beliefs,
learn new skills and experience
the opportunity to practice
these behaviors. A men’s group

Lodge No. 279 AF and AM
will confer a Master Degree.
This ceremony will mark the
55th consecutive year a Master
Degree has been conferred on
New Years Day by the Brown-
wood Masonic Lodge. This
years degree will be conferred
by a Degree Team of Master
Masons from the Metro Plex
area. They will be dressed in
full costumes and tuxedos and
from all accounts the degree
will be excellent. All area Mas-
ter Mason are cordially invited
to attend. A hardy breakfast
will be served at 8 a.m. and the
degree will start soon after.
Kidz for Christ won’t meet
again until 5:30 p.m. Wednes-
day Jan. 15, at the Early First
Baptist Church. For ages 3
