Peterson is the band director at

Republic of Texas Restaurant, atop

Crawford, who organized the
Stage Door Canteen aboard the USS

keyboards.
‘‘You’ll see why music is his pro-
fession,” Monrad said.
The food court has many food
items and desserts to choose from
as well as drinks and snacks. Doors
open at 5:30 p.m. for those who want
to grab a good seat and a bite to eat.

Some pretty good thun-

If you’re out on the
water - not necessarily
in a boat - and you hear
some thunder, start think-
ing about getting some
cover. If you wait until you
see the lightning, the next
strike may be the one that
gets you.
Not everyone is as lucky
as pro golfer Lee Trevino,
who is in his 70s. The
golfer has allegedly been
struck by lightning two or
three times. Be safe on the
water when you and your
fishing pole are the tallest
things around.
Remember, when you
go, be safe and bring back
more than you took, don’t
litter.
