Santa Claus is mobbed shortly his arrival at the Early City Hall Saturday night. Santa ar-
rived in a fire truck to help celebrate the lighting of the Early Christmas tree.

state are opportunities to
go to a State Park and enjoy
some time with family out-
doors and celebrate being
together. Come join us at
Lake Brownwood State Park
for our first annual Holiday
at the Lake on Saturday,
December 15. Bring your
camping gear and decora-
tions with you because we
will have a competition for
best decorated campsite.
The winner will have their
camping fees waived for
the evening. For visitors
and overnight guests, at 7
p.m. there will be a campfire
talk with a park ranger and
Santa will make an appear-
ance. Kids can have their
photos taken on Santa’s lap
and then decorate sugar
cookies provided by the
Fiends of Lake Brownwood.
Hot chocolate will also be
provided. Call the park of-
fice for applicable fees and
