the Wildcat 20-yard line.
After an exchange of punts,
the Wildcats were driving
when time ran out in the half.
Edgewood started the sec-
ond half at their own 34-yard
line. They used eleven plays to
score their second TD, the last
5 yards by Elie. Elie also at-
tempted the PAT, but the ball
sailed wide left.
With 6:42 left in the third
quarter, the score was 17-6,
Edgewood’s favor.
Following a Wildcat punt,
the Bulldogs started at (heir

On the kickoff, Hyatt caught

went 75 yards for a Rains’ TD.
Brian Davenport's pass to
Jeramy Stigall was incomplete,
making the score Bulldogs, 24:
Wildcats, 12, with 3:40 re-
maining in the third quarter.
The Bulldogs' next drive
was once again stopped when
Hyatt intercepted a pass at the
Wildcat 14-yard line.
Two penalties later, the third
quarter ended with the Wild-
cats at their own 7-yard line.
The fourth quarter proved to
be futile for Rains. The de-
fense continued to stop the
Bulldogs, hut the offense was
always starting deep in their
own end of the field.
Note: One of the Wildcats
had a had case of sidelineitis.
Hopefully the senior TE/LB
will be better next week.
The leading rusher for the
Wildcats was Smith with 80
yards on 10 carries. The lead-
ing receiver was Hyatt with 50
yards on 2 receptions.
The Wildcats will play their
first home game of the 1993
season Friday night, at 8:00
p.m., against the Bullard Pan-
thers. Bullard will be coming
in with a record of 2-0.
Come out and root for these
boys. Let’s make this a home-
field advantage by making
some noise.
