Dollars
“1 got the sweetest hat today, and, my dear, ot course I
didn’t really need it but,---"
“What if it is only a few blocks? Get a car."
“Aw, come on! Be a sport, It’ll cost just a dollar or two
* and we’ll have such a good time---’’
Over there in the Picardy mud, pock-marked with shell-dug craters and spotted with unspeal -
able rotting things that once were men. our soldiers can't hear everything we arc saying
Best that they can t, isn't it? The careless way some of us throw our dollars—dollars that mean
shells and food to our mcn"Wouldn’t he Ip them to fight harder against the blood crazed Gcr#
fi,:an, would it?
It isn't that some of us are selfish. It u-n't that some us don't care, It's because some of us don't
think or when we do we think too much about ourselves.
Money is needed. The Government can't rpend your promise. Your pledge is not worth any-
thing unless you buy the War Savings Stamps it represents and lend the money to ti e
Government.
Turn your thoughtless dollars mto War Savings S'amps. Do without the things you don’t have
#to get. Lay up your mon y f the pinch-times that may come alter the war. Pot your dollars
in War Savings Stamps and be safe.

A BIG SURPRISE TO
MANY IN LLANO
People are surprised at the IN-
STANT action of simple buckthorn
hark, glycerine, etc., as mixed in Ad
ler-Ika. ONE SPOONFUL flushes the
ENTIRE bowel tract so completely it
relieves ANY CASE sour stomach,
gas or constipation and prevents ap-
pendicitis. The INSTANT, pleasant
action of Adler-i-ita surprises both
doctors and patients. it removes
foul matter which poisoned your
stomach for months.
