Ashley Nicole English, 22, of
Dublin, died April 23, 2007, at her
residence.
She was bom Sept. 25, 1984 in
Fort Worth to Ronnie Lee English
and Debbie Arlene (Reeves).
She was a member of the First
Baptist Church.
English was preceded in death by
her father on June 10,1997.
Survivors include her mother,
one sister, Misty English of Dublin;
grandparents, Dorothy Reeves of
Dublin and James Reeves of Fort
Worth.

Memorial Chapel on Saturday, April
28, 2007 with burial at Lower
Greens Creek Cemetery. Rev. Mike
Fritscher officiated.

Cemetery meeting scheduled
The annual meeting of the Alexander Cemetery will be held on Saturday
‘ May 12 at 2 p.m. at the cemetery.
Bluff Dale Fun Run planned
Bluff Dale ISD will have their 7th Annual Fun Run on May 12,2007 at
the Bluff Dale school building. The Fun Run includes a Kiddie IK (7 and
under), a 1-mile run, and a 5K Run/Walk. The Fun Run begins at 8:15 am.
All participants will receive a t-shirt and “goodie” bag. Trophies and medal
will be awarded to top finishers in each age division. Proceeds will benefit
various teacher incentives programs, student projects and experiential
learning activities. This will be a fun day for the whole family. Please contact

Hanson Cemetery association meeting slated
The annual meeting of the Hanson Cemetary Association will be held on
Saturday, May 5. This will be the only formal meeting of the year. Members
will gather aroung 10 a.m. to tend to individual lots before the business meeting
and basket lunch spread at noon. In case of rain, meet at the Thompson’s at 11
am. Bring food as usual. The cemetery is located three miles north of Lake
Proctor off Hwy 1496 and CR 438. For more information contact Anna
Thompson, Secretary- Treasurer, 254-445-2478.
Clairette Community Announcement
The Clairette Cemetary Meeting and Covered Dish Lunch will be held on
Saturday, May 5th. The Annual Clairette Cemetery meeting will begin at 11:30
am. at the Clairette Community Center, which is the Old School House
Building. The Covered Dish Lunch will start at noon. Please bring your
favorite dishes and visit with some of your neighbors and old friends.
Carlton fire deparment fundraiser set
It's time for the annual fundraiser for the Carlton Volunteer Fire
Department. Come and enjoy BBQ by James and Lola Rice and show your
support for our lire department on Saturday, May 5, 2007. The BBQ supper
starts at 6 p.m. Followed by a cake and craft auction. Donations will be
accepted at door.
Cemetery association needs help
Lowell cemetery association is scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. on Saturday,
May 5 at the cemetery between Lingleville and Desdemonda.
