Eugene Swigger is home after
being discharged from the army.
Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Kirkland
and Mrs. Howard Bunts and Jean
of Vidor visited in the home of
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Zuber Sunday
Miss Marie Stillwell, Niece of Mr.
and Mrs. Zuber. will arrive here
from Columbus, Ga., to spend the
summer as soon as classes are
dismissed there.
Leon Stertz, Jr., of Houston
spent several days recently with
Sherman brought the afternoon I
devotional. Mrs. H. C Davidson,'
associations! president, and her
family of Beaumont, Mr. and Mrs.
Bonnette and family, Mr. and Mrs.
Roy Waggoner and sou, Mr. and
Mrs. Dempsey all of Beaumont
were among the visitors present.

Edwards, Miss Davidson, Miss
Mildred Smith and Miss Meriilyn
Terrell. The men are invited to
be at the church early Saturday
to begin the foundation for the
new church.

cousin who died from complica-
tions following surgery. Mrs. Ivie
Erwin kept Ronnie and Danny
while their parents made the trip.

Mrs. Reddick all of Beaumont and
Mrs. E. L. Greer and daughter of

Mrs. Ed Lee will be confined
to her home for some time after
suffering a heart attack several
days ago.

John F. Griffin home were Mrs.
Loon Cruse and Bobby and Billy
Van Ling of Beaumont. W. F. Popei
of Dallas was a visitor in this
home Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Holland had
her sister and husband of Liberty!
as guests Sunday for the ground
breaking service at the Loeb Bap-
tist Church.
Mrtt. E. M. Stewart, teacher in
Vidor Schools, was home and at-
tended services at the First Baptist
Church Sunday.
Mrs. Nelza Stewart reports that
her husband will be confined to
the hospital for three weeks and
after being brought home he will
be confined there for three more
weeks. Mr. Stewart suffered a
