DO WE NEED A CHANGE ?
I have confidence in the solid and sound thinking
people of Bartlett. We are going to fight to keep our
Light and Power System an Bartlett and to keep other
companies out. The City of Bartlett does not need any
competition.
Our plant has never been out of operation except for
a fewminutes since it began back in 1934. If the power
goes off any time due to storms or other causes our stand-
by engines are started and we are back in business within
a few minutes.
So let's keep our taxes like they are by not making
a change. You don't have to be invited to come into
your own house. Many of you have met with your City
Council in the years past it as nothing new.

If you were a professional used truck
buyer why would you pay more for
one make than another? x
There may be several reasons but
among them would be:
1. A greater demand for the
product
2. ' A more desirable product for
resale
So if used Chevrolet trucks con-
sistently bring higher prices at auctions
all over the country it means that
their quality features pay off for you
not only as long as you own them
but also when you are ready to trade
them double-wall cabs doors and
side panels roof insulation selecl
wood floors reliable and economical
engines real rugged tailgates a sus.
pension system that helps' prolong
truck life.

"Automotive Market Reports" is a weekly au-
thoritative wholesale publication which reports the
average prices paid for used trucks and cars by
