The Meridian public school came to
a close last week. The baccalaureate
sermon was preached at the school
auditorium Sunday by Rev. J. Hall
Bowman, pastor of the M. E. Church
here to a vary large congregation.
The closing exercises were had Mon-
day night of this week. Dr. W. M.
Splaun, dean of Baylor Female Col-
lege at Belton, delivered the graduat-
ing address. A class of nine graduat-
