Thanksgiving Salad
-2 tablespoonfuls Knox Sparkling
Gelatine
3 cups water
2 cups sugar
1 quart cranberries
1% cups celery, diced
1 cup chopped apple
% cup nut meats »
1 teaspoonful salt
Soak gelatine In one-half cup of
the water five minutes. Cook cran-
berries In 2*£ cups water until soft.
Stir In sugar and cook for five min-
utes. Add gelatine and stir until
dissolved-; add salt, and strain.
When mixture begins to thicken
add celery and apple, and turn

She alleges in this petition that W.
Davis, her husband, has permanently
abandoned her, and that his where-
abouts are*unknown and that it is ad-
vantageous to her interest to convey
the above interest.
The said application and petition
be heard by R. T. Wilkinson, Judge

her. The table was lovely with its
silver and china, with center piece of
lovely roses. The birthday cake was
baked by Miss Louise Blythe and was
very delicious as well as beautiful.
The guests were: Mr. and Mrs. M.
Margulis, son, Melvin and daughter,
Fannie; Mrs. Sarah Beychok and two
Mrs. Levinson and Mrs. Beychock
parted in Russia some eight years
ago. Mrs. Beychock is a daughter
of Mr. and Mr?. Margulis and a sis-

left Monday morning for Houston
and other places to visit relatives for

virtue for a heavy meal. Gelatine,
as you know, aids tho digestibility
of oilier foods.
Orange Itaskcts
2 tablespoonfuls Knox Sparkling

2 cups bpiltng water
% cup suf}ar
1 cup oringe Juice
2 tablespoonfuls lemon Juice
Few grains salt
Soak gelatine In cold water about
five minutes. Pissplve in boiling
water. ndd4 sugar and stir until dis-
solved; ihejn add lemon and orange
juice, t ’ut’ a circular piece of icel
one inch In diameter from as many
oranges as desired. Introduce
handle of silver spoon Into opening
thus made and remove pulp and

Soak gelatine In cold water and
dissolve In hot pineapple juice.
When cold, whip with egg beater
and. add chopped almonds, 'marsh-
mallows, grapes and eherries cut
up. Fold in whipped cream and
lastly the wlfites of eggs stiffly
beaten. Turn into wet mould and
chill. Serve with a whipped cream
salad dressing.
Grape Fruit Sherbet
Vi teaspoon fill Knox Sparkling
Gelatine
1 lablespoonful cold water
1 cup boiling water
•Ji clip sugar
2 cups grape fruit juice
2 tablespoonfuls lemoh juice
Few grains salt
