LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
GIANT RABBIT - Youngsters of all ages enjoyed an Easter
egg hunt in Clifton’s Riverside Park last Saturday morning, as
sponsored by Thrift-Mart. On hand was the Easter Bunny, who
visited with many of the children and posed for pictures. Here,
he converses with a couple of young hunters.

CLIFTON — Four vehicles became
involved in a one-driver accident Sun-
day, March 24, at 5:28 p.m. in front
of the Boeque County Farm Bureau
and Clifton Record offices on West
Fifth Street in downtown Clifton,
when a 1984 Chevy Citation owned by
Vaneeea Sedberry and driven by Jer-
ry W. Sedberry, 18, of Clifton went out
of control, directly striking two
legally-perked vehicle#, ramming one
of them into another parked vehicle.
The driver said he was swatting a
baa that flew into his car when he lost
control.
Receiving heavy damage were a

hit—owned by Carole Smith of
Clifton, end a 1989 Dodga Voyager
van (the second vehicle struck), also
owned by Smith.

Dear Editor:
The time is now that we should be
doing some planning for the coming
summer. Some locals have expremed
an interest in having a CHS school re
union or class reunions the week of
the Central Texas Fair.
It might interest some to have a re-
union of the graduating classes of the
old Clifton High School.
Some might like the class reunions
they have had in the past
Afte the handshakes and hugging
and the refreshments, there is ample
entertainment at the fair; and food at
the concession stands all day and into
the night.
The invitation to Clifton is extend
ed and vacation time is being set now
for most people. Could we see some
thing to develop from this?
You may ask your readers to write
to my address, give their year of
graduation, and I will gladly offer to
pool the information.
Respectfully,
Lil Foster

To The Editor:
There is a young boy who asked the
“Make A Wish Foundation” that be-
fore he dies he would like to be in the
Guineas World Book of Records as
having received the most get-well
cards. If you could write a short para-
graph about this, 1 would appreciate

Let’s think that maybe our cards
from Boeque County helped him with
his last wish.

Clifton Record building where it came
to rest after slamming into a parked

James W. Smith, and a concrete flow-

The Silverado appeared to not be
damaged.
The Sedberry vehicle, which
received extensive damage, was towed
away. Jerry Sedberry was the sole oc-
cupant of hia vehicle and was not
injured.
According to adjusters, the van
received over $4,600 in damages,
while the Regal will probably be list-
ed as “totaled.”
Sedberry was charged with having
no liability insurance.
