Kenneth B. Baucom, president of the
Bosque County Economic Development
Carp., spoke about HOTSWAP's 6rga-

which include a five-county area.
HOTSWAP Chairman Cole Word and
Vice-Chairman Robby James are plan-
ning the next meeting, tentatively
scheduled for June.
According to Comanche representa-
tives, their meeting was motivated by
the success of HOTSWAPs meeting in
Meridian April 16. The Bosque County
meeting was attended by some 70 per-
sons, and organizers deemed h an over-
whelming success. The momentum
following the initial meeting appears to
be gaining widespread regional support
throughout Central Texas, according to
die group.
The regional nyeeting in Comanche
focused on whether to join or otherwise
support HOTSWAPs efforts, and whether
to form a water district. McCall was ap-
pointed the group’s interim chairman,
and also voted to be recognized as a west-
ern Central Texas HOTSWAP partner.
McCall was requested to develop spe-
cific options and organizational alterna-
tives, general goals, and objectives, which
will be discusses at the group’s next meet-
ing.
