annual Preservation Luncheon
will be held Saturday, March 8,
at noon, in the Clifton Civic
Center.
The Bosque County Histori-
cal Commission is slightly al-
tering the format of the annual
Preservation Luncheon. It has
reduced the number of historic
structures to be honored and
added a short program, an as-
pect of history in Bosque
County.

longer exist except maybe in
name only.
The presentation will in-
clude photographs from the
communities and maps
showing their locations.
Many county residents do
not know that these commu-
nities ever existed, except
for the oldest citizens who
may have lived in one these
communities or had family
who did.
Reservations are being ac-
cepted for this, the only
fund-raiser of the year for
the historical commission.
This year, three places
from throughout the county
will be honored, along with a
special program presented
by Bruce Wiland, “Towns
and Communities of Bosque
County, Past and Present.”
Reservations must be
made prior to Feb. 29. The
luncheon will be catered by
Bunkhouse Barbecue and
tickets are $15. Tickets will
not be sold at the door.
