The Lumberton Raiders de-
feated the Evadale Rebels here
Friday night by a score of 26
to 0. The triumph was the first
in Lumberton’s two years of
playing football. Quarterback
Tommy Schrimsher started the
Raiders on the right track in
the third quarter with a 41-
yard pass and run play to his
tight end, Buster Mitchell.
The Raiders lit the score-
board three times more in the
final period. Halfback Ralph
Bertrand, the game’s leading
rusher with 112 yards, added
the second tally on a one-yard
plunge that climaxed a 23-
yard drive. Don Hartman then
accomplished' a lineman’s
fumble in the visitors’
zone upping the score to 20-0.
Fullback Harold Reese added
the final Raider tally on a 12-
yard run with 23 seconds left.
Behind Bertrand in the rush-
ing column was Fred Lavergne
with 71 yards. Blake picked up
67 yards to lead Evadale in
rushing yardage.

GOOD MORNING!
OH, MY ACHING BACK!
Many occupations are inductive to backache, such as
truck drivers, mailmen, baseball players, draftsmen,
plumbers, and many others.
There arc 26 movable bones In the spinal column. A
draftsman, for Instance, bending over his board, cramped
his spine out of line. This created pressure on nerves that
carry nerve energy to organs and tissues of the body.
W hen the displaced vertebrae are adjusted, flow of nerve
energy Is normalized. The cause of the ailment Is re-
moved.
The Greeks Knew About It
