The new East Texas Wildlife
Association strategy seems to
be to get rid of all the old peo-
ple with guest cards by charg-
ing them $5.00 for a renewal,
or for some other reason (like
in my case). I had a letter from
them stating they had decided
to charge all guest card mem-
bers $5.00 for renewal. I mail-
ed them the $5.00 shortly after
that. They returned my check
with a letter stating I had been
denied a guest card for two
reasons (1) 1 didn’t attend a
night meeting (and I had ex-
plained to them I didn't drive
at night due to my aged condi-
tion) and (2) my letter ca me
too late. And the season is not
open yet.
I paid $50.00 to join the club
15 years ago and paid $25.00 per
year for a number of years. I
have had a guest card for sev-
eral years and now am denied
a card for the two reasons I
have just stated.
1 would like very much for
you to print this letter in your
paper so 1he elderly people can
see what ETWL Association
has come to be.
