Miss Whitley, who was 7(3, dim •
Friday evening, February 22, at |
Goodall-Witcher Hospital foun-
dation, Clifton. She was a daugh-
ter of John M. and Sarah i Ren-
fro) Whitley. She attended Hurst
Springs High School.
Miss Whitley had lived in both
Bosque and Coryell Counties, but
had spent most of her life around
Clifton. She was a member of
Grace Memorial Baptist Church.
She had remained at home, ear-
ing for her mother, who now re-
sides at Clifton Lutheran Sunset
Home.
Besides her mother. Miss Whit-
ley's survivors include a sister,
Mi-g. Myrtice Hollingsworth of
Turnersville: a brother, Marion
Whitley of Houston; three sisters-,
in-law, Mrs. James T. Whitley;
of Waco, Mrs. J. O. Whitley of
Clifton, and Mrs, Marion Whitley
of Houston; a brother-in-law, G.
D. Hollingsworth, Turnersville,
and many nieces, nephews, and
other relatives. -
Among those attending the fun-
eral from a distance were Mrs.,
Anna Rogers of Katy, an aunt;
Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Rogers of
Texas City; Mrs. 'LareneGipson
of Katy;Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy
Whitley of Houston, and Mr. and
Mrs. Weldon and sister of Dallas,
Funeral arrangements were in
charge of the Clifton Funeral
