Frum both the .London Times and the
Post of- the 13th May we learn that Sir
Charles went out with instructions to rigid
ly enforce in Mexico the customs conven
tion by-which a certain portion of the du-
ties are hypothecated for the payment of
debts due by the Mexican government to
English subjects.
Significant articles in some of the leading
London journals indicate that the question
of an "active foreign intervention in the af-
fairs oi .Mexico is entertained in high quar-
ters "both in Loudon and Paris. The Times
says:
"Mexico even in the midst of anarchy con-
tinues rich in all kinds of productions and im-
portations of European merchandise must take
place even in tbe worst times. A total suspen-
sion of "dividends therefore is a thing that can
never occur except from culpable indifierence
on the part of the British government in en-

amine the road in the vicinity of the late In-
dian tnssacre hare returned to Fort JIcLane.
They saw no Indians while on the scout. The
remains of the mtssinp coach were found iu a
canon half a mile from Stein's Peak Spring.
Three bodies were found near it. The provis
ion wagon was found in close proximity to tbe
spot where the two bodies had been tied to a
tree and burned. Xo clue was obtained of tho
fate of tour of the missing men. The soldiers
removed the stock at San Cimone and Apache
Pass Stations to Dragoon Springs and San Pe-
dro river.

ticipation of the Lincoln blockade bare laid in
