Zion Lutheran Matinee Sunday, August 26
Zion Lutheran Church at 6th & Tyler Streets will be hosting a movie
matinee on Sunday, August 26 at 3:30 p.m. The whole community
is invited to enjoy popcorn and sodas while watching The Straight
Story starring Richard Farnsworth and Sissy Spacek.
Girl Scout Troop Parent Meeting Sept. 6th
Girl Scout troop # 7028 will be having a parent meeting on, Thurs-
day, September 6 at 5:30 p.m. at FBC Mcgregor. They would like to
invite the parents of any girl grade Kindergarten-3rd, who is interest-
ed in becoming a Daisy or Brownie Scout, to please join them. They
will be glad to meet all of the future girl scouts, and discuss activities
for the upcoming Girl Scout season. REGULAR MEETINGS will be
held bi-monthly on Thursdays at 4:15, and will take place at FBC-
Mcgregor in the fellowship hall. If you have any questions, please

MHS Class of 2002 10th Reunion Sept. 15th
Attention McGregor High School Class of 2002—It’s time for our
10 year reunion. It will be Saturday, September 15th, which also
happens to be Founders Day. We will be meeting at 6:00 p.m. at-
Doc’s Steakhouse and Saloon, 510 S. Main Street. We will attend the
