oration a proposition was made by a wliifa
instructing the President to enter iw .Bu
tiationsv.ith Mcxicorto ccJe bach to her the
territories of New Mexico and California.
The amendment-was adopted m committee of.
the whole in ordei to have latest vote in the
Houso When .the till was repotted to the
House die ayes and noes were called and
ten redoubt'ably whigs toted aye. The re-
ceiver of stolen goods is as bad as the thief;
and these ecstatic whigs who denounced the
acquisition of these territories as a robbery
thus plainlyjrcfused to make amends for the
wrong done to Mexico. The worthless dem-
agogues have proclaimed theii hypocrisy to
'the world andjsoaled it by a public and sol-
emn act. The whole whig party press de-
nounced the war as one of conquest and rob-
bery Tand the requisition of territory as a
shameless and immoral transaction. Our
neighbor joined in the city and blew his lit-
tle tin horn long and loud. Here was an op-
portunity offered to do an net of justice and
only ten consistent men could be 'found in the
whole whig ranks. The whole party in
Hhsir public character is one ol mouthing
humbug hypocrisy and shame. They have
now put their seal upon it. Louisville Dim.

Mr. Boll: In regard to your Sarsapanlla I will
say that I have used it to some ettent in Cutaneous
Affections of long standing as 'Tinea Capelis Pro-
riasis Scabies Syphilitic Cachelia and in all dis
eases where the indication of cire seems to consist
in a thorough change or modificjtion ot he fluids of j
the body with considerable suctess in conjunction
with local treatment. I think! would prefer it to
any other preparation of Sarsapanlla in use and
any physician will admit its valii upon learning the
