grafts will be brought from the best orchards in New York with plates of the dif-
ferent kinds showing the natural appearance and color of the ripe fruit. At one
year the graft will measure seven ieet in length ; the second year it will branch
out ; on the third il will'bear excellent fruit from one to two' bushels.
