Easy Kobcrts mowed his lawn
early last Saturday. Then he sat
on the porth and watched Handy
Peterson cutting his grass.
The Roberts' property nnd tho
Peterson's border each other
with no hedge or fence between
them. So when Easy notices Handy
had loft about a four-foot strip
unmowed nlong the boundary ho
walks over nnd asks why.
"That's your land" says Handy.
'Mine ends here. Sec it lines up
with that oak tree across tho
road!" Easy didn't think so so
they went up nnd down looking for
the surveyor's mnrker. Where did
they rtnd it? Right in the middle
of their "no man's land I"
Well they both grin and take
turns finishing the Job nnd then re-
treat to Easy's for a friendly glass
of beer together. From where I sit
a little searching around for the
truth of the matter often shows
that the other fellow is as much
right as you nrc nt which point
the whole thing doesn't seem as
Important anyway.

GRAIN STORAGE READY FOR
THE NEW GRAIN SEASON
We are rather proud of the new grain storage ele-
vator now nearing completion which will enable farmers
of this community and county to secure government
price supports on their bumper crop of grain and find
ample storage locally.
We invite you to inspect this new building and to
take advantage of the opportunity it offers. We do not
know of another like it between Fort Worth and San
Antonio. Of course we know there are larger elevators
but not in Central Texas.
Storage of grain will begin with the movement
