Richard Janke was honored
with a gift tea Saturday night
at the American Legion Home.
Mrs. Wm. Janke Mrs. Albert
Janke mother of the prospect
ive bridegroom and Mrs. Hen-
rietta Glick mother of the pros
pective bride and the honoree
formed the receiving line.
The table covered with a
white net cloth over blue was
centered by an arrangement of
white roses and tall white tap-
ers in a gold candelabra. An ar-
rangement of blue and white
flowers in driftwood on the man-
tle carried out further the brides
chosen colors of blue and white.
Appointments were of crystal.
Mrs. B. L. Cook Mrs. Wayne
Benner Mrs. Milton Stabeno and
Miss Anita Janke alternated at
the serving table. Mrs. Ray Wat-
son and Mrs. Aubrey Messer
were at the gift table and Miss
Linda Janke registered the
guests.
The hosteses presented the
honor guest with a lazy susan.

esses presented her with a gift.

dle lighted table to the following

the honoree Mrs. James Bailey
and the hostesses Mrs. Richards

The Junior Lutherans met at
the Church last Thursday
March 21st for their monthly
meeting.
Songs were sung by the
group accompanied by Joyce
Faye Klotz at the piano.
The scripture taken from I
Corenthians was read by Cyn-
thia Persky. Mrs. Muegge dis-
cussed "The S's in the Lenten
Story". After a short business
meeting the group divided into
classes for the Bible Study.
Mrs. (Flora Meissner and Mrs.
Eddie Lange served refresh-
ments to 11 members 4 leaders
and a visitor Cynthia Persky.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence iMar-
chak visited Sundays with his
mother in Seaton.
