er, Mrs. Robert Wheeler from
Humble; her twin sister, Bet-
I ty, from Houston; her aunt,
Mrs. Ray Jennings also from
Houston, and the bridegroom's
mother, Mrs. Lincoln Skillern.

Humble on Sept. 4. They are
living in Nacogdoches where
Ricky is a student at Stephen!

gree in Biology.

I'm celebrating an Anniver-
sary this week as Halloween
peaks around the corner. It
really doesn’t seem possible,
but this column is one year
old. It's been an unusually last
year . . .and a good one.
"Thanks" to all of you for your
i espouse, cooperation, and sup-
port throughout the year. A
very special thanks to the for-
mer residents (whom I have
heard from) who continue to
receive this paper and who en-
joy reading about their friends

The Lucky 13 CM Club is in
the final stages of preparations
for its Halloween Carnival. It
is to be held on Saturday Oct
23. beginning at 1 pan. at the
Little League practice field in
Warren. There will be signs
giving directions.
There will be a spook house,

cakewalk.
