Best Actors of the Year will be

Presentations of Awards and
Dance Saturday night at 7:80.

were voted on by theater
members, will remain secret
until the “academy awards”
show. Mary Ann Lee and Susie
Horkt are in charge of the
awards program. Jack Evans
will serve as master of ceremo-
nies for the special event and
Betty Shine will provide the
entertainment.

Gray and Don Sheffield for the
drama “ALL MY SONS”, and

The Best Actor in a Reading
was won by Paul Miller for hi*
performance in “MURDER BY
MORNING”, the only reading
presented with male east mem-
bers. Others receiving special
awards will be the theater’s
major production directors, Al-
lan Bash for “ALL MY SONS",
and Mark Wilson for “ANNIE
GET YOUR GUN”.
Business to he conducted at
the final meeting of the theater
season on Saturday night will
include an election of officers
and directors for the 1961-82
season. Announcements ex-
pected to be made by out-going
President Bob Burgess, include
the Silsbee High School schol-
arship being raised from $500 a
year to $1000 a year, a cash
donation from Temple-Eastex
Matching Grant Program in the
amount of 12,910, and $500 cash
donation from Kirby Forest
Industries. Dues for the new
year will also be collected at
this meeting by Betty Ann
Mitchell, membership chair-
man.
Fun Exercise Classes
Are Scheduled
A six weeks fun exercise
class with aerobics will begin on
May 11 and wfll end on June 19.
The 8:80 a.m. class will contin-
ue to meet at Knupple Park on
Monday, Wednesday and Fri-
day mornings.
The 7:00 p.m. class will meet
at the Middle School field house
and track on Monday, Tuesday
and Thursday evenings. The
fee for the six weeks course can
be paid the first night <4 class
or persons may visit the
Community Education Office in
the School Administration
Building on Highway 327 and
register, Diane Keith said.

Cases Set For
Trial May 11
Five criminal cases have
been set for trial for May 11 at 9
a.m. by 88th District Court
Judge Clyde E. Smith. t
Cases scheduled for trial at
that time are:
Jimmy Price, DWI subse-
quent offense; Earl Richard
Gleason, DWI subsequent of-
fense; Wanda Bailey, burglary
of habitation; Rente Wagner,
burglary of habitation; Tommy
Hollyfield, delivery of mari-
juana.
