week, according to County
Attorney Bevil Wright's office.
Thomas Alva Lejeune Jr.,
23, P.O. Box 8819, Lumberton,
plead guilty to a charge of
driving while license suspend-
ed. He was fined $100 plus
court costs.
Terry Lee Fyock, 46, 1316
Deer Park Lane, Kountze,
plead guilty in Justice of the
Peace Gerald Loper's court to a
charge of driving while license
suspended. He was fined
$68.50.
Ivy Joe Traylor, 26, Scott’s
Lounge, M.L. King Drive, Sils-
bce, plead guilty in county
court to a charge of theft. He
was fined $100 plus court costs
and placed on six months
probation.
William Richard Chambless,
32, P.O. Box 82, Votaw, plead
guilty in county court to a
charge of driving while intoxi-
cated. He was fined $250 plus
court costs, given a 30 day

posal of hazardous wastes are in-
sufficient to protect the environ-
ment, Says a Texas A & M soil ex-
pert. All underground dumps leak
and the government should ban
proposals that call for burying
hazardous materials such as chem-
icals and nuclear waste. Instead,
above ground disposal sites can
be sealed and monitored more
carefully.

driving while intoxicated, and
received a $400 fine, court costs
and two years probation.
Douglas Coe Herbst, 34, of
Lumberton, entered a miscel
laneous no-contest plea to driv
ing while intoxicated, and re
ceived a $200 fine, court costs
and two years probation.

held for Cherry Owens and
Joseph H. Lovell at her home
on May 12.
Miss Owens is employed by
Dover Oil in Jasper, and Lovell
is employed by Keydril of
