Local Scouts
Attend Camporee
Local Boy Scouts their
scoutmaster and adult leaders
attended the Boy Scout District
camporee held Friday and Sat-
urday night on the San Gabriel
River two miles east of Circle-
ville. Approximately 200 boys
from the San Gabriel District
of the Capital Area Council at-
tended the camporee.
The local troop was award
ed seven blue ribbons and two
red ribbons for numerous
events in which they partici-
pated. Those attending were Rich-
ard Clearman Doyle Zigalo
Craig Moeller Peter Hightow-
er Lynn Friedrich Terry Fried-
rich Tommy Braun Emil Dir-
bec Timothy Steglich and the
adult leaders James Zelene-
vitz Leroy Friedrich Bob Bun-
ker and scoutmaster Dr. R. E.
Clearman.
