and their wives for the United
.Methodist Churches at Emory
and Point.
Replacing the Rev. Fred Wor-
tham will be the Rev. and Mrs.
James T Neff. f
The Rev Byron Jarratt has
been trnsferred to the United
Methodist Church at Chandler
near Tyler. He will be replaced
by the Rev. and Mrs. Jed Hamp
ton. who are coming from the
Kosse-Reagan charge near Mar-
lin. The Methodists of our area
and their friends will want to
be at their respective churches
to greet their new pastors.

at the cemetery Sunday after-
noon.
Donations for the upkeep of
the cemetery may be sent to

holidays Mail will be boxed at
the office on Saturdays but
will not be boxed on Sundays
and holidays
Rural carries will sene their
routes on Saturdays however
they will not take money orders.
Rural patrons desiring to pur

than Saturdays
Rural and local patrons are
encouraged to purchase stamps
and stamp their letters before
mailing.
There will be no mail delivery
services on Sundays and holi
days. Post office box holders
who now get their Sunday pa
pers in their post office bor
will not receive their papers on
Sunday 14. 1970 and all Sun
days and holidays thereafter

on Wednesday, June 3rd. These
splendid women and their great
spirits are such an esteemed
part of the rich heritage of our

You" to them. Eight ladies were
present that had atended the
very first party that was glvpn
eight years ago
Mrs Dorn was the oldest one
this year. She is 91. Mrs Myr-
tle Montgomery was next, being
90 and Mrs. Iccna Champion
was 86. Mrs. Lula Roberts trav-
eled from Llndale’i Colonial
Guest Home to be with us.
Mrs. George Humphrey and
Mrs Jodie Hill helped Mrs
Johnston as she greeted tfcr
guests and served them blue-
berry and apple spiced dough
nuts, coffee, tea and punch
The flowers that centered the
table were arranged beautifully
and were given by Mrs Guy
Sisk and Mrs Montgomery.
