contest play, “Heubner the
Reluctant” by Alan Haeh-
nel, at 3 p.m. Saturday,
April 30, in the high school
auditorium. This will be the
final performance of the

Retired Teachers stay busy in April
April was a busy month
for the Olney Retired Tfeach-
ers. Goodie bags were de-
livered to the active teach-
ers of Olney, Archer City
and Throckmorton in ap-
preciation for their devo-
tion to education.
Five ORTA members went
to San Antonio for the state
co nv entio n. They learned
more about the legislative
actions that will affect re-
tired teachers. Donna Haile,

On May 3, Region IX Ser-
vice Center will host the
spring conference. Local

May 10, at St. Theresa’s par-
ish hall. Members should
