Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Sloan and
family of Lubbock visited his
mother, Mrs. Grace Sloan last
week.
Our sympathy to the family
and friends of Miss Lucy But-
ler.
Mrs. Eva Bishop and Mr. and
Mrs. Steve Brown and Vicky
attended the graduating exer-
cises of their son and brother,
Pvt. Powell K. Jackson at
Camp Polk, Saturdav
returned home with them for
a fourteen day leave and then
reports to Fort Sam Houston
for advanced medical framing
for six months .
Our condolences to Neill
family in the loss of their loved
one.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill T'.....-
moved to Bonham. They form-
erly lived in Oklahoma.
Brown is the former Myrtle
Jackson of Howe.
Our football team won their
scrimmage game and our pep
squad girls are working hard
to learn their routines. Let’s
