Miss Camille Yvonne Dutton '
and Alan Lawrence Miller were
united in marriage Friday , ev-
ening in First Baptist Church
here with the bridegroom’s fa-
ther, Rev. A. L. Miller officiat-
ing.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Dutton. Mr.
Miller is the son of Rev. and
Mi’s. A. L. Miller of Los Lum-
as, New Mexico.
Rev. Miller Was assisted in
the ceremony by Rev. Claude
Cone, pastor of Parksicle Bap-
tist Church of Denison,’ former-
ly pastor here. Mrs. E. E. Clark
of Howe was organist. Mrs.
Jeannie Cone of Denison, sis-
ter of the bridegroom, sang
“More,” “Because,” and “The
Wedding Prayer. ”
The bride was given in mar-
riage by her father. She wore
a formal gown of organiza over
taffeta: Floral .motif appliques
and tiny seed pearls embellish-
ed her bodice-which was fash-
ioned with a scoop neckline
and long, tapered sleeves. The
design was repealed in the full
skirt which swept Anto .a chapel-
length train. Her veil of silk
illusion was caught to a tiara
of pearls and aurora crystals.
She carried* a white Bible top-
ped with an orchid bouquet in
which she carried her paternal
grandmother’s wedding ring.
Miss Mickey Dutton, sister of
the bride, was maid of honor.
She wore a floor-length gown of
American Beauty peau de soie,
a pink illusion headpiece and
carried an American Beauty
rose.

was bridesmaid. She wore a
gown of hot pink p.eau de soie,
a pink illusion headpiece and
also carried an American Beau-
ty xose.
Bob Miller of El. Paso was his
brother’s best man. Alvin Mil-
ler of Las ..Cruces, N. M. was.
groomsman. Candlelighters in-
cluded Jerry Scott, Jack and
Alton Norman, all of Dorches-
ter, and Gerald Hickox, Howe.
Miss Dutton, mother of the
bride, wore a toffee silk dress
with pink accessories and- a
■pink carnation corsage.
Mrs. Miller, mother of the
bridegroom, wore a beige silk
shantung dress with black suede
accessories and a pink carna-
tion corsage.
A reception was held in Fel-
lowship Hall of the church. The
bride’s table was laid in white
satin cloth centered with the
bridal bouquet and a memory
candle.
The three tiered wedding cake
and punch were served by Mrs
Karen Felkner of Denison; Miss
Gail Gunn, Miss Betty Catch-
ing and Mrs. Iva Holcomb, all
of Howe. Miss Janet Owens of
Howe registered the guests and
Mrs. Karon Borden of New
Boston distributed rice bags.
Other members of the house
party included Mrs. Francine
Hickox, and Mrs. Jean Akins,
both of Howe.
Mrs. Miller is a graduate of
Howe High School and attended
East Texas State University.
Mr. Miller is a graduate of
Gadston High School of Antho-
ny, N. M. and New Mexico
State University. He is employ-
ed by Physical Science Labora-
tories, White Sands, N. M.
For traveling Mrs. Miller wore
an olive green suit with toast
accessories and a corsage from
her wedding bouquet. After a
wedding trip to points in New
Mexico, the couple will be at
home in Las Cruces, N. M.
