‘COD'S HELP'
In a Texas Town-a way down on the coast,
Lay a dying woman-oblivious to most, but her loved ones
.gathered around and heard each and every sound that broke
every heart, to know she dies of pain where the tears of
many flowed like the, the rain.
Prayer is the answer to many at this time.
_ Hardly a soul can retire sublime-
. We all know that God gave. He calls home every soul
and at the end of time-He calls the roll.
Why do we mortals cringe at the very thought. Is it be-
cause we didn’t do the thing we ought, but no one can
prevent this woman’s time to go to her loving Jesus-where
her robes will be white as snow.
God knows each heart that heard her moan and cry, our
Prayers are heard though we weep and sigh. All are touched
in some way, But we are mindful of his way-and our duties.
Death stalks the hall of this building of stone.
And not all will die but some will return home, Even
though we can not see why, for every reason we are re-
minded, He gave life, also each season.
Why do we say this as each of us draws to himself in the
quietness of night* God alone, knows why she breathes, till
daylight.
It is a lesson for one and all who can't help out, to hear.
To me it is a reminder of God’s love-1 do not fear , for
some day it will come my time to answer his call.
With his great hand, I pray I will not fall. Yes this is a
strange one for the sick to get well and to some He will
call with the toll of each knell.
On the Texas coast, alone the Gulf of Mexico lay this
dying woman where patients lie in a row.
All become silent as death stilled her for ever more with
respect, all who were about thought of others gone on before.
We are reminded, all learned doctors about could not Re-
lieve all her pain, even though they were the best.
So John Sealy Hospital on the Texas shore will need God’s
help for ever more.
