SECOND SECTION
WEEKLY DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE
THIRTY*SIXTH VICAR (fc>Ubll^lM*l February 7. ISM)
To the Pubfc
Having wold ray business to Mr. J. II. Mei-
ri11, and without his knowledge or consent, I
am taking this privilege and method ot’ saying
to my old friends and customers that I have
found Mr. Merritt to be an honorable, pleasant
and agreeable gentleman to do business with,
having ample capital and large experience in the
N
mercantile business I can cheerfully and consci-
tiously recommend him as being in a position to
serve you well, and I trust that you may see
proper to give him a good liberal share of your
valued business, feeling absolutely sure that you
will find your business relations with him both
pleasant and profitable and in every way entire-
ly satisfactory, and in this connection I again
want to say that I am very grateful for the lib-
eral patronage you have accorded me while in
business
Very truly,
