every direction. Foffour years he

Stephenville, will not be allowed
to become dormant under John

The Empire man can give some
one a bargain on some second
hand tin roofing, guttering, flues,
doors, windows. Also a second
hand upright folding bed of
splendid make and in fine con-
dition at an extra bargain.
The first Monday crowd was
intensely large owing to the fact
that the earth was too wet for
people to engage in farm work.
Besides it was the'first favorable
day for coming to town since the
rains of last week which began
on Wednesday and continued un-
til Saturday noon. Many had to
come to replenish their cooking
supplies, and others to buy feed-
stuffs for the livestock.
