Mineola Community Bank makes top 200 list
Mineola Community Bank
was named to the 2015 edi-
tion of the Top 200 Healthiest
Banks in America listed by
DepositAccounts.com.
The local bank was ranked
99th out of 6,998 banks and
was graded A+ in all of the
primary evaluation catego-
ries, including Texas ratio,
deposit growth and capital-
ization.
Texas ratio is an indicator
of how much capital a bank
has available compared to
the total value of loans con-
sidered at risk. As of March
31 Mineola Community Bank
had $279,000 in non-current
loans and owned real-estate
with $27.78 million in loan
loss allowances on hand to
cover it. This gave the bank a
Texas ratio of 1 percent which
is considered excellent. Any
bank with a Texas Ratio near
or greater than 100 percent is
considered a risk.
In the past year, the bank
has increased its total depos-
its by $17.61 million, result-
ing in a 15.19 percent growth
for the year. A strong track
record of growth is an indi-
cator of consumer confidence
and the bank's ability to
strengthen its balance sheet.
The growth the bank has
shown was considered excel-
lent.
Both the Federal Deposit
Insurance Corporation and
National Credit Union con-
sider capitalization levels of
banks and credit unions to be
of high importance. Mineola
Community Bank has $186.66
million in assets with $27.78
million in equity, resulting in
a capitalization level of 14.88
percent which is considered
excellent.
DepositeAccounts.com is
the largest and most compre-
hensive online publication in
the U.S. dedicated to bank-
ing-savings deposit informa-
tion for consumers. It covers
all 14,000 federally insured
banks and credit unions and
utilizes its patented technolo-
gy to track more than 275,000
consumer deposit rates, each
updated nightly.

Testimonial
“I found a home listed by Century 21 over 6 years ago and
Judy sold it to me. When my grandmother passed away in
2013, we listed her home with Judy and sold it right away. When we outgrew
our home, I asked her again to help us. We built a new home and she did all
the paperwork and made our lives so easy navigating us through the legal
side. She is such a fabulous person, you would love her if you met her. She
treats everyone with respect and takes care of her clients from beginning to
the end. She replies to any emails, phone calls or texts right away even if on
vacation! She takes her career seriously and is just a joy to be around. Judy
was able to handle a lot of stress we had near the closing of our house with
professionalism and a great attitude. She kept us calm and focused and we
knew if we just got though the day, everything would be o.k., just like she said
She should be rated as “outstanding” because “excellent isn’t high enough of
a remark for her.”
