HAPPY IS the woman who is never unprepared—who can
always lay a nice appetising meal or light luncheon before
any guest—unexpected rr oot. Her friends prajse her for
her housewifely qualities and she feels that delightful sat-
is faction which can only come from hospitality perfectly
done.
The secret lies in haying a well chosen selection if canned
goods and table dainties always at hand. Look over our
stock—the best of the kind in town—and make a selection
today. Then put your fear in the cupboard for you will be
prepared for any company—come when it may.

What should I do when in doubt about
a Cultivator or Planter?
Assuming you do not want to waste anv money, our suggestion is that you
give us your name and Post Office address and let us send you a special book -
describing in detail the—
Emerson Standard Cultivators
aa „■„»and Planters j- \ : j :•
This will not be much trouble and only the expense of postage, and tnav earn good returns for you in adding to »our knowl-
edge of Cultivators and Planters, ot which there are a considerable variety, md they are not all ot them “ The Best.” POST
YOURSELF on the DIFFERENCE, and so get rid of doubt, and become an enthusiastic booster tor the Emerson Standard '
implements.
The opposiie cut shows our new No. 28 Corn and Cotton Plinter, using the seeding de-
vice that has made the whole line of Standard Planters so popular, because of the even-
ness of the planting.
A Planter that leaves unplanted spaces of from three to ten feet and a drz^n or such
spaces in every 80 rods, does not show its unprofitableness until the olants show.
If your nearest dealer does not handle the Standard Line of Implements, we will
make you an introductory price on shipment made from Dallas, Be sure to send us vour
name and address
