A few weeks ago I told you that
"(Iiant" would he mining soon to
I lie Uruily Theatre. Now, xxe have
learned that "(«iant*’ will be play-
ing lit the Texas Theatre due to the
fact that “tiiant" is u roadshow
roadshow engagement.
We feel that your Texas Theatre
will never experience an attraiTion
with the scope and brilliance of
"(iiant.” It is a pleasure to pre-
sent "tiiant” at the Texas Theatre
because it is your reviewer’s npin-
ion that the Texas Theatre is one
of the best theatres in Itrady.
"(iiant" is the (Seorge Stevens
prodiietion of the famous novel hy
Kdna Ferbcr. Filmed in exipiisito
Warnereulor, "(iiant" is the giant
of all movies. It has giant stars
ineluding: Kli/.uhcth Taylor, Hack
Hudson, James Dean and Jane
Withers; it has a giant running
time consisting of three Imurs
and twenty-eight minutes; and
most important, it has a great dir-
ector, the one and only (ieorgu
Stevens.
"(iiant" will he the most remem-
bered picture that the Texas
Theatre will ever pre mill. It be-
gins March M, for a one-week
