IDENTICAL TWINS
Kirkwood residents Kerry and Ron Binnicker are
super proud to announce the birth of their twin
daughters at Southeast Memorial Hospital on July 13,
1984 (Friday). Elizabeth Lynn Binnicker arrived at 1:18
p.m., weighing 8 pounds, 13 ounces, while stretching
20 inches. Allison Gail Binnicker arrived at 1:19 p.m.,
weighing 8 pounds, 7 ounces, while stretching 1934
inches. Erica Ann, age 7, and Virginia Lee, age 3, are
thrilled with their new sisters. Happy grandparents are
Charles and Shirley Barett of Freeway Manor and Bob
and Janet Binnicker of Meadow Creek. Congratulations
are sent to Kerry and Ron from their families and all
their friends.
PARKER HAS BIRTHDAY
Dr. Parker Williams, president of San Jacinto Col-
lege South, celebrates her special day today, July 26.

Dobie senior Olyn Taylor, a member of the yearbook
and newspaper staffs, recently won the photography
contest sponsored by the University of Houston and the
Chronicle summer journalism workshop. His mother

WELCOME HOME, GAIL AND JAMIE
Gail and Jamie Jamison of Beverly Hills have just
returned from a trip to the World’s Fair in New Orleans
and Florida where they visited relatives and Disney
World. On July 2 they celebrated their first wedding
anniversary on Honeymoon Island, Fla. Congratula-
tions are sent to them for their first year of marriage
and for ending it with a relaxing vacation.
OLYMPIC BOUND
Monette Falzon, an ’84 graduate of Dobie and an
employee of Eckerds on Hughes Road, won the Go For
The Gold contest sponsored by Eckerds. There were
about 7,000 entries in the contest and she won an
all-expense paid trip to California for two to the
Olympics. She had to answer 10 questions and send
them to the national office in Clear Water, Fla., where
there was a drawing from those having the correct
answers. Congratulations are sent to Monette from her
family, friends and Todd Pierpoint, who hired her at
Eckerds about two years ago. Have a great time.
DUKE IS 21
Duke Patterson became 21 years old on July 18. He is
sent lots of happy birthday wishes from his wife
Natalie, his mother June Mayo and from the staff of
Mayo-Patterson and Associates.
ATKINSON ACCOLADE
The following personnel at Atkinson Elementary

11th wedding anniversary on July 28. Billy is a coach at
Dobie and he previously coached at Thompson Interme-

Marla Caswell, daughter of Larry and Sherial Cas-
well became 6 years old on July 17. A Care Bear party

Joseph and Frances Parlangeli are visiting here from
Staten Island, N.Y. and Wallace and June Cook of San

daughter Amanda Sue, fifteen months old. They are the
children of Jeanne and Louis Parlangeli of Wood

LUMMUSES’ VACATION
Tena and Hulon Lummus, along with their daughters
Gina and Mary, have recently returned from a super
vacation. They went to the Grand Canyon, Petrified
Forest, Painted Desert, Monument Valley, Colorado
and the Continental Divide. They all had a really great
time.
FUN IN THE SUN
Liz Comstock and Robin Ogden have just returned
from Padre Island after a week of fun in the sand, surf,
sea and sun. Robin’s second day was spent in a Corpus
Christi emergency room with a sprained ankle,
but the girls did not let this stop them from making
several new friends. Also along on the trip were
Robin’s mother Carol and her parents Carl and Betty
Bull from San Antonio.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TRAVIS
Travis Isenberg, son of Derrell and Patti Isenberg,
who are Dobie graduates, will become two years old on
July 27. He is going to have fun-filled day at
AstroWorld. Lots of love and happy birthday wishes are

25-year reunion on Saturday, Aug. 11. There will be a
