cident Sunday and nearly cut one

attended the Doug Morgan show in
Commerce last Monday night.
Mrs. Thedia Kizcr and children
were in Ladonia Monday.
Miss Flossie Hannah left Satur-
day for Daingerfield.
Miss Pearl Douglas spent Friday
night with Mrs. Hillard' Wolfe of
Covey.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sheffield spent

CITIZEN DROPS DEAD
Friends and acquaintances were
pained to learn of the sudden de-
mise of J. C. Johnson who died of
heart trouble early Monday morn-
ing at bis home about ten miles
northwest of Ladonia in the Provi-
dence community. Mr. Johnson,
though getting along in years, was
feeling alright up until a short time
before his death. He was 80 years
of age and was one of the pioneer
citizens Fannin county, coming
here in the early days and settling
on a farm where he spent the great

Bagby. All reported a nice time.
