fishiag last week-end. He met his
two cousins, Clarence and Henry
Lacy of Houston.
Mr. and Mrs. Leon Browning
of Pear Valley spent the day Mon-
day with Mm. Winnie Browning

ters left for their home in Dallas
• today (Tuesday) after spending
several days here with Mm.
Browning.
Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Moore and
son, Oliver Lee, were supper
guests of his brother, Leonard
Moore and family of Santa Anna
Monday night. They came back by
Coleman and left Mr. Moore. Mm.
Moore and Oliver Lee spent the
night in Valera with Aunt Patsy
Ray and Mrs. Moser.
J. S. Hayden and Erve Rulleten
of Dallas and Gus Tunnell, Tyler,
were bird hunting on the V. C.
Whitworth place during the Labor
Day holidays.
Loyd Deakins is spending the
night at his mother’s home here.
We haven’t heard from Mrs. Deak-
ins in the last few days.
Mm. Omer Hall returned home
Friday. She had been a patient in
the Brady Hospital since Tuesday.
She was able to be back at church
Sunday morning.
Mm. Bryan Hodges and daugh-
ter of Lubbock accompanied the
Wayne Me Bees here to visit her
mother, Mrs. Winnie Browning.
The Me Bees spent the Labor Day
week-end with her parents, Mr.
and Mm. Brady Martin and family
of Lohn.

returned home with their son, Dar-
nell and family for a few days’
visit.
